Now Is the Time to Awaken, Pray, and Evangelize

We live in unprecedented times where the need for a time of awakening is crucial. This is not only a time for spiritual awakening but a call for Christians to stand up, pray, and evangelize. The world needs to hear the Gospel now more than ever, and we, as God's children, must answer that call.

The Time for an Awakening

First, it's important to recognize that now is the time for an awakening. As it was stated by the Apostle Paul in Romans 13:11, "The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed."

This call to wake up is not only for personal spiritual awakening but also for awakening the Church and society at large. The world needs the love and redemption found only in the message of Christ. How to Pray for Evangelism

Prayer is the key to effective evangelism. It's important to know how to pray for evangelism.

• Pray for boldness: In Acts 4:29, the disciples prayed, "Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness." Pray for boldness to proclaim the Gospel fearlessly.
• Pray for opportunities: Colossians 4:3 advises, "And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains." We need to pray for opportunities to share the Gospel with others.
• Pray for receptive hearts: In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus highlighted the importance of good soil (Luke 8:15). Pray that the hearts of those you share the Gospel with will be like good soil, ready to receive the Word.
  
  

The Call to Be an Evangelist

Everyone can and should be an evangelist. It's not just a calling for the clergy or missionaries, but for all believers. As we awaken and pray for evangelism, we also need to take the next step and actually evangelize. As stated in Matthew 28:19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
